It originally launched on April 7, 2012 as Univision Deportes Network (UDN) in the United States and is headquartered in Mexico City, Mexico. In 2019, Univision’s sports division (UDN) and Televisa sports network (TDN) were merged and rebranded together as TUDN, creating a larger unified sports brand that serves audiences across both the U.S. and Mexico with expanded collaboration and programming.

The channel broadcasts a wide range of live sporting events, especially focused on soccer (football) across the Americas, along with boxing, baseball, basketball and motorsports coverage. Its particularly popular among Spanish‑speaking sports fans, especially those who follow international soccer leagues and CONCACAF competitions.
